# Cryptbloom armour/Fungal Shield analysis

A fungal shield is generated if the player falls below 20% of their maximum life points while wearing all 5 pieces of cryptbloom armour (provided it is not already on its 2 minute cooldown). The amount of life points stored in the shield, , takes on a random value in discrete steps based on the player's Defence level, , and their Total Armour stat, . The possible values it can take on follows the following relation
