Corundum detail.png

Corundum is one of the Jewels of the Elid found in Menaphos. It can be obtained from mining corrupted crystals or looting chests in the Shifting Tombs, with a 1/750 drop rate. (Corrupted crystals destroyed using the urn buff count as well.) [1] When found from mining crystalline corruption, the text box would read: "You find a corundum cluster!"

Like all Jewels of the Elid, it can only be found after receiving the Menaphos Journal from Assistant Librarian Subotai. Collecting all 16 gems grants the Jewelled Scarab pet and completes the Rock and Roll achievement.

Hint given in the journal: We don't condone ransacking tombs, but recent geological activity makes retrieving these more an act of preservation than looting.

Achievement[edit | edit source]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Corundum in real life is a mineral that can come in a variety of different colours; red varieties are called rubies and blue varieties are called sapphires.
  • Corundum was formerly known as Tuai Leit sparkle, introduced to the game on 10 October 2016, but was unused. It was re-purposed and renamed with the release of Menaphos.
