The coin of balance was a reward from the Squeal of Fortune. It can provide the player with various "answers" via its Ask option. On the weekend of 15 March to 18 March 2013, there was an increased chance to win one in the uncommon slot. From 00:00 UTC on 2 April 2015 until 23:59 UTC on 7 April 2015, there was a rare chance to win it during the Treasure Hunter "Second Chance" promotion.

This item was reobtainable from Treasure Hunter during the Smashing Relics promotion at the end of May 2017 on the 4 July 2017 and during the Advent Calendar 2018.

Outcomes[edit | edit source]

The coin of balance can be used to produce a random outcome through various means. The player has the option of asking for a coin flip, a minigame, a skill, a D&D, a colour, or a number. The possibilities for minigames are any of the possible minigames; the same follows for skills and distraction & diversions. The other options have their own sets of outcomes.

Whatever is chosen, the message will be "The coin landed on: ______." It may or may not also have a follow up message:

  • "Good things come to those who wait." — when "skill" is chosen
  • "It's the taking part that counts." — when "minigame" is chosen
