The Castle Wars flag cape is a cape obtained from the minigame Castle Wars. It is unlocked after achieving the getting the most flag captures in a given match. It can then be bought from Lanthus for two silver Castle Wars tickets. This cape, like all other Castle Wars achievement capes, can be stored in the costume room of a player-owned house.
The Castle Wars match must be fully completed to receive the prize. Leaving the match mid-way (even if you had 4 captures and the second had 2) would not unlock the flag cape. Some players boost to get this cape, and for this reason (and the short time commitment) it is one of the most common Castle Wars capes.
In the event that there is a tie for highest amount of flag captures, whoever reached that amount first unlocks the cape.
Tips[edit | edit source]
First get a friend or partner to go to Castle Wars with you on an empty world. One of you goes to Saradomin's team, and another goes to Zamorak's team. Once the game starts, go to the opposite team's base and get the flag. Note that your partner must not be away from keyboard, or they will exit to the Lobby and you must do it again. You must score once if you want to get a "flag count". After getting 1 flag count, you and your partner can kill each other to pass the time. (Note your partner can get the Castle Wars kill cape in the same game, have your friend or partner kill you at least one more time than you kill them. Alternatively you can get both capes in one game, but your friend or partner will get nothing, as they will have lost the game.

Trivia[edit | edit source]
- All Castle Wars achievement capes seem to have a hood attached, although it can only remain folded. This is similar to the monk's robe top, which has similarities to a modern hoodie.
