Blast Furnace?[edit source]

You can't smith cannonballs at Blast Furnace...

Per hour[edit source]

Could somebody add a profit per hour thing? Also a mine ores profit? Thx Rune 2h sword.pngAjihad282Teh talk - U wants 2 borrow? 21:19, March 22, 2010 (UTC)

--The calculator is assuming 18 trips/hr for all three methods. I haven't checked this yet but that doesn't seem correct. Does anyone have actual data for these times? 16:33, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

--Alright, I have some data which I'll incorporate into the calculator. Using Varrock Armor 2 in Edgeville with the cannonball mould in my toolbelt, I got the following times: Method 1 took 100 s and used 9 bars per trip making 36 cannonballs. So 36 trips are possible per hour (there are 3600 s in 1 h). Method 4 took 3 m 15 s, used 28 bars per trip making 112 cannonballs. So that's still 18 trips per hour (rounded down from 18.46 trips). This data will help. 18:09, December 8, 2011 (UTC)

- The previous two entries were by me! I've registered now so I thought I should leave my name here. Juscus 12:01, December 9, 2011 (UTC)

Clean up[edit source]

Hasn't been updated for almost 2 months, I'm taking this page under my wing for a couple of days to clean up some of the equations and other things, you people should be ashamed. -Hellninja64

Morytania legs[edit source]

A section calculating the data for using morytania legs and their "twice as fast" boost should be added to this. Law rune.png Samberen Nature rune.png 03:47, April 2, 2012 (UTC)

Varrock Armor to Morytania Legs[edit source]

I agree about the Mory legs but shouldn't there also be a calculator for making the bars in edgeville with varrock armor then making the cannonballs in port phas with the legs ? Wish I had a clue on how to do it. StirlingWolf 16:22, April 5, 2012 (UTC)

That'd be useful as well :D I just don't have the resources (slow internet, little bad with calculator scripts) to do it myself with any accuracy. Law rune.png Samberen Nature rune.png 06:39, April 6, 2012 (UTC)

Smithing[edit source]

Just a thought. Wouldn't using the ectophial to teleport to Port Phasmat save a ton of smithing time

due to the fact that there is a bank like right next door to a furnace? Check it out correct me if I'm

wrong. 09:26, October 1, 2013 (UTC)gohst speak amulet helps64.118.14.136 09:26, October 1, 2013 (UTC)

Need a big update with Morytania Legs 2 (double cannonball smithing rate)

Massively updated.[edit source]

I've given this page a massive update that includes:

-Port Phasmatys Furnace (with Morytania Legs 2 incorporated)

-Al Kharid Furnace

-Falador Furnace

-Added a bunch new information to each table

-Improved the visuals.

I may add some maps soon if i can be bothered but for now this calculator is pretty good. 08:49, June 16, 2014 (UTC)Envy

whats with these ridiculous amount of steel bars made

28 bars take 168 seconds in port phasmaty this does not include banking

3600/168= ~21 trips using a max of 600 steel bars an hour

not this bs 1100 steel bars an hour

and i have morytania tasks hard done and wearing their pants during that calculation

Edit: so i just timed an acctually invintory to be 1min 24 seconds not the 168 seconds that game thinks it is. im sorry for not making sure. not including banking you can do 1200 steel bars in an hour im sure that 1100 is acctually accurate 11:06, October 7, 2014 (UTC)King ofHeros

Needs update[edit source]

Regarding how many steel bars can be smithed from the metal bank per hour. The number of cannonballs per hour, thus the profit, is much higher. I'm not sure how to update any of this info.
