They should just add a bow table. Halogod35 20:24, 29 December 2008 (UTC)

I've organized it a bit more, but I'm thinking of moving the left shield half to some rarity or valuable table. Kabnett 00:45, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
The shield half is kinda iffy. Depends who's in the market for it. sometimes I can buy 100+ easy at lowest. Then supply runs out. Someone buys it at max. price goes up. The brutal RS merchants invest in them. Everyone invests in them. Merchants sell, item crashes, it gets cheap, I buy 100+ easy at lowest, cycle continues. Sometimes it's rare, other times it's not. Just depends.--Kodeman76 04:51, 30 December 2008 (UTC)
What about alching summoning pouches?? i think that they are a reasonably common alching item. I might try to figure out how to add it but someone else will probably have to do it.Unicorn horn dust.png Evil Yanks talk
I just found a list of high alch values for summoning pouches under summoning rather then magic. No need then so disregard the last postUnicorn horn dust.png Evil Yanks talk

Bolts?[edit source]

I added enchanted onyx bolts since they appear to be a popular choice for high alchers. Are there any other bolts that are frequently alched? To3cutt3r 12:59, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

Complicated, but it works[edit source]

I found that if you buy Gold Bars off the Grand Exchange and then turn them into Gold Bracelets you make a great profit!

No Profit[edit source]

It might be nice to focus on items that have at least a hope of turning a profit, such as granite helms, which is an item I spotted on a different fansite. >.< SW0RD -- 18:24, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Merge[edit source]

Shouldn't this be merged with Grand Exchange Market Watch/Alchemy?

Bulk items[edit source]

It would nice if someone could add items that are easy to buy in bulk to this (such as Gold Bars, Runes, Foods, etc). Although these things rarely can be alched for a profit, the loss per alch can be surprisingly low. This information would help anyone interested in training magic (at minimal cost to them) who doesn't want to invest millions to get a decent amount of items. Goingtothe 18:59, August 17, 2010 (UTC)

Can we add a GE buy limit column because the difference between a 10 limit being profitable and a 10,000 is massive xp wise? Benl20 11:28, August 9, 2012 (UTC)

The price of a nature rune is wrong[edit source]

The price of a nature rune is wrong. I looked at the code and it looks correct (GEPrice | Nature Rune) and I looked on the Nature Rune page. But the price on this page is coming up incorrectly at 403, the price on the Nature Rune page is correct at 173, so I don't know how to fix it.

Jimindc 01:52, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

You need to visit Exchange:Nature rune and update the price there (per the instructions). Quest.png Gaz Lloyd 7:^]Events!99s 13:51, February 25, 2011 (UTC)
I tried that but it didn't work. However someone else must have fixed it because it's correct now. Jimindc 13:54, February 25, 2011 (UTC)

Bars[edit source]

I think the Bars section should be removed. They usually give a large loss, as they are raw materials in high demand for training smithing. All other sections are finished products. Atheist723 05:20, March 9, 2011 (UTC)

Arrows[edit source]

Arrows seem popular to alch, can anyone provide me with how much the arrows gain when high alched? Bronze through to rune please

I will make all the calculators if someone wants to provide me with the alch prices.

Black Canes et al[edit source]

Is there really a reason to include items such as black canes in the list which noone is ever going to alch and which only serve to slow down the page's loading time? Even at a 5% drop every single day it would be 5 months before black canes returned a profit to alch. Rak-kir 10:18, June 14, 2011 (UTC)

complete bows[edit source]

full bows

come one should add all bows because than there would be both unstrung and strung bows to be alched bec i no people who alch maple long bows

Mystic error/issue[edit source]

The mystic parts seem to be picking up the highest GE value as opposed to the lowest.

Adamant claws high alch[edit source]

adamant claws high alc for 360 not 720, i just lost money on this. please can it be changed? or can i become an admin on this page?  —The preceding unsigned comment was added by (talk) on 15:04, May 23, 2013 (UTC).

  1. Note the warning at the top of the page that high alch values may be out of date.
  2. Anyone can edit pages, not only admins; however,
  3. you must create an account to edit this page. Qloque (talk) 15:15, May 23, 2013 (UTC)

Cleanup[edit source]

I find that the High Alch Calc is SERIOUSLY in need of updating and it should be updated on a regular basis, monthly at best. 17:50, September 13, 2014 (UTC)

The Profit column is extremely wrong[edit source]

The page is protected so unfortunately I can't edit it myself, but there are a few obvious problems here:

The price of most weapons aren't taken into account in the profit calculation. For instance, the Magic Composite Bow shows:

Raw cost: 591,612 | Coins produced: 1,500 | Profit: 1,117

This is because the cost of the bow isn't taken into account, only the Nature Rune. The code:

|{{Coins|{{#expr:{{GEValue|Magic composite bow}}*0.6 round 0}}-{{GEP|Nature rune}}}}

should be:

|{{Coins|{{#expr:{{GEValue|Magic composite bow}}*0.6 round 0}} - {{GEP|Magic composite bow}} - {{GEP|Nature rune}}}}

Salvage has the opposite problem: Nature runes aren't getting taken into account. Here's Tiny Plated Bronze Salvage:

Raw cost: 418 | Coins produced: 20 | Profit: -15

|{{Coins|{{#expr:{{GEValue|Tiny plated bronze salvage}}*0.6 round 0}}-{{GEP|Tiny plated bronze salvage}}}}

should be:

|{{Coins|{{#expr:{{GEValue|Tiny plated bronze salvage}}*0.6 round 0}} - {{GEP|Tiny plated bronze salvage}} - {{GEP|Nature rune}}}}

Rune Chainbody is even weirder. Its high alch price is hardcoded to 30k, but its article says it's actually 2.5k, which seems way more likely to be correct. 11:32, 31 January 2019 (UTC)
