# Calculator talk:Divination/Divine locations

This talk page is for discussing the Calculator:Divination/Divine locations page.

## The numbers are too low

The figures are presented as "Coins per daily limit use" yet they seem to be average prices of rewards from these locations. They should show the true about rewarded each day (i.e. >100k gp for the hunter one). --XAleXOwnZX 00:35, September 29, 2013 (UTC)

The hunter one is not 100k+. Also the calculator is actually how much money you can expect from using up 1 point towards your resource. For many, this is the average prices; others, it's not 00:37, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
That's not useful, players want to know how much the total they could get per day, without having to mess around with daily points, point use modifiers, etc. XAleXOwnZX 00:57, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
Everyone's cap is different, so we really can't tell anyone. 00:59, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
O really? Why can't we make it a calculator then? (I persume it's based on divination level) XAleXOwnZX 01:09, September 29, 2013 (UTC)
We don't know for sure at all. If you want to know for yourself part of the expected profit coming from other players, you can look at User:The Mol Man/Divine locations. 01:12, September 29, 2013 (UTC)

It's a first draft, I have since discovered the formula for daily cap, it's not based on Divination levels. I can include this, but even then it's still not complete for the hunter and farming nodes. I am working on that but it is a very complex problem and I am not sure if I can finish it. 22:40, September 30, 2013 (UTC)

Furthermore, the use of a daily cap brings complications when a single resource can't fully utilise this cap. You'll never encounter this with box traps, or any of the non-multiplied resources, but something like runite ore could give a relatively lower value than it would give in the original table if your cap is not a multiple of 12. 16:26, October 2, 2013 (UTC)
I tried multiple things and I can't figure it out: how do you make it show coins in a let? Also, it shows 0 for everything until total lv 50. Is that actually accurate? Dsctatom (talk) 20:14, November 24, 2013 (UTC)
Based on my current theory the cap should indeed be 0 below total level 50. But I don't have a lot of data to work with, especially not from people with lower levels. 00:33, November 29, 2013 (UTC)

## I don't think the calculator is adjusting for resources that take multiple points

I used the calculator for Adamant Rock and in game I earned exactly half of what the calculator predicted. I thought that maybe the calculator didn't take into account that each adamant ore took up 2 daily points.

From what I can see in the code, it should take that correctly into account... IP83.101.44.209 (talk) 04:22, September 1, 2014 (UTC)

could somebody fix this please? :)

## Wrong sorting in Firefox

In Chrome it sorts correctly when you click on the respective header, but using Firefox the rows are sorted as strings instead of ints.
