I think the prices are out of date..
Cooked Profit[edit source]
Using opportunity costs, shouldn't the cooked profit / loss column be using the GE price of the uncooked pie, rather than ingredients? Making raw pies and cooking them are separate steps after all Solar'spot 10:31, June 18, 2010 (UTC)
50% Wgt Profit Column[edit source]
I'm not sure if this is the right way of dealing with this, but the calculator is slighlty flawed. It assumes that The stuff causes the chance of a brew being mature to be equal to 50% (rather than increasing it by 50%, as is the case). Thus the 50% Wgt Profit figures are deceptively low. I'm not sure what the best way of fixing this column would be as chance of maturity scales with cooking level. Perhaps an estimate of 80% would be better, although this would just be a more accurate guess at profit. Sepia Knight 17:42, February 28, 2012 (UTC)
Brewing with calquat kegs[edit source]
100 kudos for anonymous who added calculations considering calquat kegs.
I think it would be more readable if there is a separate table for this. What do You think? Cazcader 08:17, May 25, 2012 (UTC)
Bad sorting[edit source]
The numbers don't sort properly for me (eg 4000,400,3000 instead of 4000,3000,400). I tried wrangling with the sorting type for the price columns, but to no avail. Is it possible to fix? As a side note, why does Calculator:Other/Miscellania work flawlessly? Is it because the Misc calc has one header row? It seems the brewing calc sorting doesn't cope with the rowspans/colspans very well. I read that Wikimedia fixed those bugs in v1.26 September 2015, but Wikia still runs v1.19 software which was known to have errors with it. Techhead7890 Talk Contribs 17:35, March 25, 2016 (UTC)
- Yes, the sortability is is broken due to the col/rowspan in the headers. This is exacerbated by having more header cells on the second header row (price/profit - there's 8 of them) than in the first row (7). Wikia will essentially never upgrade mediawiki, so we're going to have to work around them. I removed row/colspans from the table. 21:36, March 26, 2016 (UTC)
