Reason: missing potion costs
You can discuss this issue on the talk page or edit this page to improve it.

This calculator calculates the cost per bucket load for making supercompost. It assumes that the buckets are recycled. It includes methods using compost potion (currently figuring 266.48 coins per bucket, allowing for the sale of the empty vial), but not special purchases or growing from seed etc., as these represent opportunity costs of selling the component on the GE, as well as the work involved.

Excluded also are non-tradeable item like White tree fruit and Peach, and the Compost mound's special move (although this could be added).

Cost of using peaches for supercompost with bones to peaches spell tablets: the find the cost of using peaches for supercompost multipy 27, (the amount of inventory spaces), by the cost of bones (currently 61 coins). Add the cost of a bones to peaches tablet to this (currently 661 coins), and divide the total by 27. The current cost of using this method for supercompost is: 85 coins per peach.

  1. Weeds are often to be found lying around allotments (although a good gardener will grow very few of their own) and weeds fill the compost box faster.
  2. While you can't make compost with noted items, you can take sacks of cabbages for example making them very convenient as well as cheap (unlike baskets of strawberries which are merely convenient).
  3. Items listed on the grand Exchange are sometimes "bought out" this is particularly the case with compost potions.
  4. Compare these with the current cost (1,724) of buying Supercompost.
