Cactus seed detail.png

Cactus seeds are a farming seed that can be used to grow cacti. They can be planted in the cactus patches found in Al Kharid, in the Imperial district in Menaphos, and by the northern totem hotspot on Anachronia. They require level 55 Farming to plant and take 560 minutes to grow.

Ayesha or Zahra or Goob will look after your seed for 6 cadava berries. The patches become disease free after the completion of the hard Desert Tasks.

Cactus seeds are dropped by cockroach soldiers, dagannoth, desert strykewyrms, ice giants, moss giants, ogres, cave horrors, and other monsters. They may also be obtained as a reward for cremating vyre corpses, by pickpocketing a master farmer, or from the Vinesweeper minigame for 1,200 points each.
