The butterfly outfit is a cosmetic reward from the Tribute to Guthix event released on 12 March 2013. All three pieces were obtainable for free from Memstix during the event, along with the Sword of Edicts and the Butterfly Dervish emote.

It was available again during the 2019 Easter event from the same druids and Tribute stone that appeared next to Falador Lodestone (similar to Tribute to Guthix event), however this time they did not provide the Butterfly Dervish emote and the butterfly event itself was different.

It has been available again during the Spring Festivals since 2021 from Thaerisk Cemphier in exchange for Spring Tokens.

While wearing the outfit, attempting to catch Guthixian butterflies (including green, yellow, white, and Giant Guthixian butterflies) has a 100% chance of success.

It consists of three pieces:

• Butterfly mask
• Butterfly top
• Butterfly legs

This outfit can be stored in the toy box of your player-owned house. It can also reclaimed from Diango or through a bank's holiday outfit retrieval interface.
