Burnt potato is the result of accidentally burning a raw potato while attempting to make a baked potato. Cooking a baked potato requires 7 Cooking, and burning it will become less common with a higher Cooking level.
The burnt potato has no conventional use whatsoever. However, some players collect burnt food and will pay good money for them. You can unsuccessfully attempt to eat it. Like most other burnt food, it is tradeable to other players but not on the Grand Exchange.
