Burnt meat detail.png

Burnt meat is an item used for the Witch's Potion miniquest. It is often dropped by Imps and Zombies and is also a joke reward from Eadgar's Ruse and My Arm's Big Adventure.

Players using the Cooking skill can produce burnt meat by failing to cook raw meat. Higher cooking levels decrease the chance of burning raw meat until, at level 34, players stop burning it altogether. Players can deliberately make burnt meat by cooking a piece of cooked meat, displaying the chatbox message "You deliberately burn the nicely cooked meat". This will happen even if the player is wearing a Cooking cape.

Players cannot eat burnt meat. Attempting to do so will give the message: "I can't eat this. It's burnt." It has no use besides its role in Witch's Potion.

Like all burnt food, this item is tradeable, but not on the Grand Exchange.
