Bryant was a character in the first RuneScape novel, Betrayal at Falador. Bryant was a peon serving the White Knight under Squire Theodore and a friend of the warrior Kara-Meir.

Bryant was killed shortly after escaping the werewolf Jerrod, who had tortured him in a home in Dagger Alley. The traitorous white knight Sir Finistere slew Bryant near the alley, and used his dagger to kill Sir Balladish who happened to follow Sir Finistere, suspecting his possible role as the spy.
