Brawling gloves (FM) detail.png

Brawling gloves (FM) (also known as Firemaking brawling gloves) are obtained as a rare drop from Revenants in the Forinthry Dungeon, the Wilderness shared loot table, the Chaos Elemental, as a drop from the Rare drop table or by pickpocketing Crwys workers in Prifddinas.

When wielded, 50% XP boost is given at the entrance or outside of the Wilderness, with the buff increasing to 300% (4x the experience) at level 47 Wilderness just south of the fence. Most XP modifiers stack multiplicatively with the gloves (i.e. Clan avatars gives up to 106% XP and Brawling gloves are 400% XP, for a total 424% XP). Upgrading the Infernal Puzzle Box to tier 4 provides an additional 25% experience boost to all brawling gloves. The gloves do not work during Double XP weekends or with the Enlightenment aura. When used in conjunction with the Pyromaniac perk, additional charges will not be consumed but bonus experience will still be given for each log burned via the perk.

The most common strategy is to use the gloves north of the fence, often by the Mage Arena bank. The gloves only last for around 1202 uses, and disintegrate afterwards.

Firemaking brawling gloves are considered to be one of the best brawling gloves, as one can easily and cheaply obtain millions of experience from one set of brawling gloves.

Use[edit | edit source]

  • (Skull.png) means the location is in the Wilderness.
  • (Bank map icon.png) means repeated banking is required. This causes delays but is safer than carrying all your resources in a PvP area. Bank presets are recommended.
  • Protean log experience is for level 90-99.
  • Total XP below is an estimate, not exact.

This is done by performing the Eggsperimentation activity in Anachronia, but igniting the fertiliser in the Wilderness.
In order to get to both locations easily, it is suggested to use Anachronia Dinosaur Farm teleports.
This is the slowest method, however is one of the few methods that yields a profit and maximises XP earned.

    • Spirit gems, Treasure Hunter keys, brawling gloves and warpriest gear will now all show loot beams when dropped. Spirit gems and treasure hunter keys can be filtered out by setting your loot beam minimum value to over 50,000.
