A brass hand is a quest item obtained from the Rocking Out quest. It is made using the Smithing skill by putting together the five pieces from a broken hand, with a hammer and 2 bronze wires in the inventory.

The brass hand is made for Brass Hand Harry, hence his name. His original brass hand was broken, and he asks a favour from players, in order for him to give his mark. After being made, he gives an ink pad and some paper, to which the player uses the hand on the ink pad, turning it into an inky hand.
