FAQ • doc |
Boost brews were items used to double the experience gained from any event activities at the Breaking the Storm event. When drunk, the brew was destroyed and the player gained double experience from participating in the event for 30 minutes. This time was not reduced while in the lobby.
The boost did not stack with the daily first 500 bonus. If the daily bonus was still active, there was a confirmation prompt for drinking the brew. The brew bonus overrode the daily bonus, and once the brew ran out, the daily bonus resumed to function as usual. The daily bonus boat materials were not obtained while the brew was overriding the daily bonus.
Drinking multiple Boost brews did not extend the timer past the 30 minutes but refreshed it like any other potion.
After the beginning of 8 July 2019 any remaining boost brews were converted into 50 oddments each.
Obtaining[edit | edit source]
Boost brews could be obtained from the event interface where they could be purchased for 45 RuneCoins each, with the first purchase being free. There was also a chance to receive one when opening a event mystery box (Breaking the Storm) or big event mystery box (Breaking the Storm).
Ironman accounts were unable to purchase boost brews.
