Big event mystery boxes are items obtainable from various events. They were first released with the Breaking the Storm event.
When opened, big event mystery boxes yielded a total assortment of five rewards, and the box is destroyed. Five open inventory spaces were required to open a box.
Breaking the Storm[edit | edit source]
During the Breaking the Storm event, the box is obtained as a reward for handing in 2,750 boat materials and again at 12,000 boat materials. They could also be obtained by converting 1,000 boat materials.
Rewards[edit | edit source]
Five of the following were rewarded when the box is opened, out of which one was a guaranteed Medium prismatic fallen star. For ironmen, the only reward was 10 times your total level as gold coins.
It was possible to receive the same item multiple times.

During the Summer Skill Off event, the box is obtained as a reward for handing in or using a combined 2,500 Skill Off tokens and again at 10,000 tokens. They may also be obtained by converting 1,000 tokens.

Master Crafting[edit | edit source]
During the Master Crafting event, the box is obtained by converting 500 master crafting patches.
When opened, event mystery boxes yield a total assortment of five rewards, and the box is destroyed. Five open inventory spaces are required to open a box.
Ironmen cannot convert 500 patches into boxes. However, they are the best option to make through the interface for experience in the event outside of the cosmetics. They cost 2x as much to make as event mystery box, and only gives the same amount of coins to ironmen, but also gives 4x as much event experience.
