Autopsy table (scenery)

Autopsy table is located in the centre of the autopsy table excavation hotspots located in the ruins of the observation outpost in north-eastern Anachronia.

The autopsy table can be studied to unlock the special research, Necropsy, which can be researched at level 101 Archaeology. In that research, the player learns that although the table looks ominous and that autopsies were certainly performed here, it was not used for cruelty, and was used for learning.[1][2]

This table was likely used by Skeka as she tried to dissect the dinosaurs of Anachronia when the Dragonkin arrived there. She did this to understand their workings and to determine the threat that they posed the Orthen and the Kin.[3]

  2. ^ Ethical Concerns, written by Skeka, RuneScape. "We treat these animals with due care when alive, and with dignity and respect when no longer so. I have more respect for these dinosaurs than some of my fellow kin. There is no cruelty here, and I only carry out autopsies on those that have died of causes other than dragonkin. Still, I am labelled so by uneducated outsiders. It bothers me not."
