Augmented custom-fit trimmed spiked masterwork platelegs is the augmented version of the custom-fit trimmed spiked masterwork platelegs and requires 92 Defence to be worn. They are a cosmetically altered version of the Augmented Custom-fit Trimmed Masterwork Platelegs, made by bringing them and a glorious bar to Elof, or by augmenting the unaugmented version at an Inventor's workbench. They are otherwise identical to the unspiked version, including retaining degradation charges when created, the degradation mechanics in general, and the set effect. They can be reverted back to the unspiked version freely by Elof at any time.
Armour gizmos charged with perks can be used to enhance the armour's abilities. As a leg slot item, it can hold 2 gizmos, allowing up to 4 perks (2 on each).
The Augmented custom-fit trimmed spiked masterwork platelegs only uses the normal equipment degradation mechanic and not the invention charge drain system. It has 200,000 charges of combat, and will degrade to a broken, unusable state. It can be fully repaired at any time at an anvil using a new, untrimmed masterwork variant of the same item plus 32 divine charges. If the armour is fully depleted, it can also be repaired from the inventory.
Custom-fit trimmed masterwork equipment is meant to never degrade or lose a charge when hit by a current target of a slayer assignment or Soul Reaper task, or within an elite dungeon. Outside of this, it lasts for 200,000 charges, twice as long as trimmed masterwork equipment.
The item can be trained and siphoned as normal while it has charges. Once it runs out of charges, it will retain its equipment bonuses until it reaches equipment level 10, where it will become unusable and has to be recharged or be disassembled.
Unlike normal augmented items, this item is made at an Inventor's workbench from the unaugmented item, an augmentor, and 36 divine charges. It can be made from a partially used component. Augmentation dissolvers cannot be used on this item.
