The augmented Balmung is a level 70 Melee two-handed weapon capable of dealing extra damage to dagannoths that is created by using an augmentor on any of the coloured Balmung variants. The resulting augmented Balmung is always the same, regardless of which Balmung the augmentor was applied to.
Weapon gizmos charged with perks can be used to enhance the weapon's abilities. As a two-handed item, the augmented Balmung can hold 2 gizmos, allowing up to 4 perks (2 perks each).
Using this weapon in combat can gain experience to increase its level. Levelling the weapon will have no effect on its ability in combat, but it will improve the experience and materials gained for disassembling or siphoning it.
The Augmented Balmung uses charges stored in the universal charge pack. When the charge pack runs out of charges, the item loses stats and gizmo effects, and can also no longer gain any equipment experience. Function will resume when the pack is recharged with divine charges.
The augmented Balmung can be levelled up by using it. The equipment experience required for each level and the effect of disassembly is as follows:

- Unlike most Average-speed two-handed swords (including its original counterpart), upgraded Balmung uses a damage multiplier of 22.85 instead of the standard 22.35. All versions of upgraded Balmung share this trait, effectively giving them an approximate 2.2% weapon damage (equating to 3.3% ability damage) bonus over other tier 70 weapons.
