Enchanted ascendri bolts have a 10% chance to activate the Deathmark enchantment. Upon activation the player instantly gains 10% adrenaline and the Deathmark buff for 15 seconds. While under the effect of Deathmark basic ablilities grant an additional 1% adrenaline. Subsequent activations while under the effect of Deathmark will refresh the buff. The effect of Deathmark will remain active after switching ammunition or even switching weapons.
This effect can be triggered with auto attacks and abilities, with abilities consuming one bolt per activation. Multi-target abilities such as ricochet can trigger the effect separately on secondary targets. Abilities that hit multiple times such as rapid fire have a chance to trigger it on each hit separately.
Onslaught can trigger the effect, although adrenaline gained after the first recoil hit will be immediatley drained and doesn't stall or skip the recoil.
The chance of the special attack occurring is increased to 12% upon the completion of the elite Seers' Village achievements.
