Archaeologist's tea can be bought from the Archaeology Guild Shop for 2,000 chronotes or obtained from an ancient casket.
Drinking the tea gives a 50% experience increase to Archaeology whilst excavating remains for 20 minutes and destroys the item. Drinking the tea while wearing the full master archaeologist's outfit will provide 30 minutes instead. This boost does increase the equipment experience gained by an augmented mattock by the same 50%. The effect can stack up to an hour by drinking multiple cups of tea; drinking cups that would put the timer to over an hour prompt the player with a warning and can only top the timer up to 60 minutes.
After advancing an Archaeology qualification rank, players may speak to Acting Guildmaster Reiniger to obtain some Archaeologist's tea as a reward.
Based on the value of chronotes, archaeologist's tea has an effective cost of 330,000 per cup.
