Archaeologist's tea can be bought from the Archaeology Guild Shop for 2,000 chronotes or obtained from an ancient casket.

Drinking the tea gives a 50% experience increase to Archaeology whilst excavating remains for 20 minutes and destroys the item. This boost does increase the equipment experience gained by an augmented mattock by the same 50%. When wearing a full master archaeologist's outfit set while drinking the archaeologist's tea, it will last 30 minutes instead of the regular 20 minutes. The effect can stack up to an hour by drinking multiple cups of tea; drinking cups that would put the timer to over an hour prompt the player with a warning and can only top the timer up to 60 minutes.

After advancing an Archaeology qualification rank, players may speak to Acting Guildmaster Reiniger to obtain some Archaeologist's tea as a reward.

Based on the value of chronotes, archaeologist's tea has an effective cost of 324,000 per cup.
