Apple tree seed 5 detail.png

Apple tree seeds may be grown into apple trees, which give cooking apples. Players with level 27 Farming may plant an apple tree seed in a plant pot that has been filled with dirt from any gardening patch. A gardening trowel is needed to plant the seed. The plant pot then be watered with a watering can. These actions are all performed in the inventory. Planting an apple tree seed in a plant pot gives 22 farming experience. After a few minutes, the planted seed will become an apple tree sapling and can then be transferred to a fruit tree patch. Apple tree seeds can sometimes be found hunting jadinkos at the Herblore Habitat area.
