Ancient elven wedding ring detail.png

The ancient elven wedding ring is an item obtained during or after The Light Within by killing Crystal Shapeshifters. Returning this item to Angof on Tarddiad unlocks a crate that was previously locked, containing an additional lore journal. Angof reveals that the ring belonged to her husband, Maldwyn, who was overtaken by the Sickness and left.[1][2] Asking about her husband, Angof reveals to the player that she is transgender, saying that her body "was born, incorrectly, male."[3] Depending upon the player's reaction to her reaction, she either absolves them for killing her husband[4] or angrily scolds them for mocking her.[5]

Each piece of crystal armour worn increases the drop chance of the ring, and attuned crystal armour increases the drop chance even more. By wearing the full set of attuned crystal armour the chance of obtaining this ring is 1/10.[6]

This drop will not appear on the Slayer collection log until the Angs Off My Ring achievement has been completed.
