The Abomination cape is a melee cape that requires level 75 Defence to equip. It is a very rare drop from the Abomination after completing the Hero's Welcome quest.

It is notable for having a strength bonus slightly higher than the fire cape while having twice the defence, as well as being tradeable. The cape currently has the highest strength stat of any tradable cape. The cape is extremely expensive due to its rarity. The Grand Exchange listed value is often far less than current market value.

Trivia

• On release, the Abomination cape had a far lower exchange price. This was adjusted after a while due to the rarity of the cape and the lack of people who killed the Abomination.
