'The Epic of Hebe' detail.png

'The Epic of Hebe' is found by using a hallowed lantern (lit) on the statue of Hebe after first repairing it and claiming the reward. This requires level 105 Archaeology and partial completion of The Everlight mystery. Reading it grants the player 50,000 Archaeology experience and destroys the book.

Although the book can be obtained prior to 105 Archaeology through boosts, boosts cannot be used to reach the level 105 requirement to read the book. As the book cannot be banked or reclaimed if destroyed, it is recommended that players not claim the book until they have reached level 105.

  • The quote is part of Stephen Fry's 'Heroes: Mortals and Monsters, Quests and Adventures,' where it refers to Heracles instead of Hebe.
