A 'perfect' ring is made by crafting a 'perfect' gold bar into a ruby ring. It is needed in the Family Crest quest. The 'perfect' gold bar is made by smelting a 'perfect' gold ore. For details on where to mine it, go to the Family Crest quest guide.
The ring is given to Avan in the quest in exchange for his part of the crest.
Although you can make more, after or during the quest, having more than required is essentially useless.
Update history[edit | edit source]
The update history project is a work-in-progress – not all updates to this topic may be covered below. See here for how to help out!
- patch 21 January 2019 (Update):
- 'Perfect' jewellery consumes both ingredients as intended.
- Attempting to create a perfect gold ring or perfect gold necklace whilst already owning one will no longer cause a disconnection.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Although the 'perfect' ring is essentially a Ruby ring, it cannot be enchanted with the Enchant Level 3 Jewellery spell.
- It retained the older model of a ruby ring for a while prior to being updated.
- Crafting it does not yield any experience.
