Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • This item's transcript is a reference to the quote 'Abandon all hope, ye who enter here', a phrase said to be inscribed at the entrance of Hell in Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. Likewise, the examine text references the three parts of the Divine Comedy: Inferno, Purgatorio and Paradiso.
  • Translated from Latin, Malum Infernale roughly means 'Hellish Evil', which would make it the Divine Comedy's counterpart.
